The Classique Amélie Champagne returns for a second edition

We are delighted to announce the 2nd Edition of the Amélie Champagne Classic, to be held on May 28, 2024 at the Club de Golf Saint-Raphaël! After the resounding success of the first edition, it was obvious for Amélie’s loved ones to renew the event with even more energy and determination. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Amélie Champagne Fund. This fund aims to support Lyme disease patients and their families, as well as fund research to enable the implementation of specific detection and treatment protocols for Quebec patients. The goal is to make a difference within the Lyme community in Quebec. Amélie was always keen to help others, and now it’s up to her family and friends to carry on her commitment.

The AQML will take part in the event to inform participants, but also to honor Amélie’s memory.

Retrospective: first edition

On June 29, 2023, La classique Amélie Champagne brought together 144 golfers at Club de golf Château Bromont for the first edition. Afterwards, close to 150 people joined us for the end-of-day cocktail party to commemorate Amélie’s memory. Thanks to the generosity of our partners, donors and golfers, we were able to donate $384,195 to the Association québécoise de la maladie de Lyme.

We’d like to express our deepest gratitude to Alain Champagne (Amélie’s father) and Nicolas Payer (her husband), as well as to their families, donors and participants, who made this possible.
