“Ride for Lyme” in Montreal
Two young Canadians are cycling across the country to raise awareness about Lyme disease and collect funds as part of the “Ride For Lyme” project.
The two athletes and “Lyme warriors,” Daniel Corso and Tanner Cookson, will stop in Montreal on Saturday, June 20th at Place Émilie-Gamelin (Square Berri) from noon to 2 PM. They will be welcomed by local residents, community leaders, healthcare professionals, and individuals suffering from Lyme disease who are able to attend.
The 8,000 km journey, which began in British Columbia last May and will conclude in St. John’s, Newfoundland, in July, “Ride For Lyme” has successfully raised awareness about this debilitating disease and is well on its way to reaching the financial goal of $100,000 for CanLyme (Canadian Lyme Disease Foundation).
