Appointment of a new General Director

The Board of Directors of the Association québécoise de la maladie de Lyme (AQML) is pleased to announce the appointment of Caren Leblanc as General Manager of the association.
« With the announcement of the referral centers and clinics, a fundraising campaign in full swing and all our other projects, Caren’s appointment couldn’t have come at a better time. A new wind is blowing through the AQML,” says Daniel Bronsard, Chairman of the AQML Board of Directors.
« It is with great humility and enthusiasm that I accept this position, and I thank the Board of Directors for this vote of confidence. I am privileged to work with such a competent and dedicated Board of Directors. The cause is very close to my heart, as I myself suffered from Lyme disease for several years. I know the pain, the medical wandering and the after-effects it can have,” says Caren Leblanc.
With a degree in communications, marketing and administration from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, among others, she worked for several years as an executive and communications coordinator for a national non-profit organization in the health and social services field. Having served on the Board of Directors in 2021-2022, she understands the issues surrounding Lyme disease and is familiar with the organization’s strategic orientations.
