Lyme disease added to the list of occupational diseases - Bill 59

In a post on his Facebook page (2) MP Sylvain Roy announced:

An important gain today was the Minister’s acceptance of our proposal to add Lyme disease to the list of occupational diseases.

-Sylvain Roy, deputy of Parti Québécois (Bonaventure)

Mr. Roy also participated in the parliamentary commission on Lyme disease in 2019. We thank him sincerely for his work over the last few years, and are confident that this outcome will lead to greater recognition of Lyme disease in Quebec.
