McMaster University’s Midwifery Research Centre is recruiting for a new study on the transmission of Lyme disease during pregnancy.

A new study on the transmission of Lyme disease during pregnancy by The McMaster Midwifery Research Centre is in the recruitment phase.

Two groups of people are sought for this study:

  1. Lyme patients: Participants are invited to complete a 20- to 60-minute online survey about Lyme disease during pregnancy. To be eligible for the survey, participants must be pregnant and have Lyme disease, or have had the disease in previous pregnancies, regardless of outcome.   2. Control Group: The McMaster Midwifery Research Centre** is currently recruiting participants to complete an online survey that takes between 20 and 60 minutes. The survey aims to gather information from both women who had Lyme disease during pregnancy and those who did not.
